Today was the cooking class, i was so excited to do it and i Slept until 1! It finished at 12:00 so i had missed it by ages! :( its the one thing that I didn't mind paying more money on too as I thought it would be worth it! Anyway they say no refunds under any circumstance so I lost my money for that, not a great start to the day :(
In the afternoon when Annie finished the cooking class she came and told me all about it... Well jel! Then we went for dinner at Gecko again.
In the afternoon we chilled in the room as there was nothing else to do apart from, I want to see the water puppet show at some point, but today we couldn't be bothered! Yesterday took a lot of energy! :(
We went and did a little shopping around though and I bought a pair of royal blue shorts for around £9.80! And Annie bought a new dress, we seriously have no room left in our rucksacks though, mine is bursting open, literally! The sides are breaking apart and it's torn in all the corners as every trip I keep packing more and more crap into it! Just can't let go of some things though!
Oh I also forgot to say when we were in Cambodia, when we got off of one of the night buses, someone had stolen my key ring of Aiden from off of my rucksack! So now it looks like a lonely old dirty ripped apart bag, which, tbf I quite like because it means theives don't bother stealing it, they'd go for the brand new rucksacks that are organised in the hopes of finding an iPad or something whereas mine would be too much hassle for them!
I can't believe the 3G on my phone still works, Annie hardly used hers and It ran out after two days, I use mine 24/7 and it still works a week later! It only cost me £1.50 and works faster than it does in England! I don't wanna jinx it though, I keep getting messages to top it up :s
In the evening we went to GC bar, I don't really like it there I didn't fly all the way to Asia to sit in an English pub! But it's okay for pre-drinks before we went to Mao's bar!
Mao's bar is nice because it's not too packed it's chilled and it's a more authentic Vietnamese style bar! Plus, he has a drinks offer on every night... What more could we ask for?
After a few in Mao's, Toni and Lee took us to Solace bar! A party boat on the river! We loved it in here the music was dancey and everyone was so happy! There were groups of crazy Asian nerds dancing in circles on the dance floor getting everyone to join in, it was funny... Annie was in her element, we could dance like a geeks, as we usually do and not have to care about people watching us!
Thats until Toni decided to tell me he wasn't enjoying it as much as the last time he was here he got beat up! He said it can be dangerous and that it was full of Mafia inside! Great, just what I need! When we went back in I was so scared to even look at anyone incase they were the godfather! Usually when someone knocks into me with a drink, Il politely smile and then discretely trip them up or ignore them so they can't get passed me... Well not in here, I kept my self to myself and after I found out we were in the Vietnamese 'hood' didn't dare move :((
One of the crazy Asian guys, about two foot six, and wearing basketball shorts with Crocks, was trying his hardest to pull Annie! He was such a geek I've never laughed so hard, ever! If she'd have pulled a guy wearing Crocks she would never live it down! He still didn't give up though he kept trying to dance with us, Annie told him I was her boyfriend and he disappeared... Spoilt sport!
