We are staying in the Grand Hotel Dino, a luxury hotel and resort on the shores of the huge Lake Maggiore. We are in the Italian alps close to Switzerland.
I am typing this blog in our hotel bedroom which has a balcony facing the lake and the girls are currently enjoying the Italian summer weather in the outdoor swimming pool.
This morning we took a launch to Isola Bella, an island in the lake where the noble Borromeo family created a enormous Baroque mansion and gardens.
