Today we woke up in Nuremberg Ns we are doing a tour of the Medieval Village. Nuremberg is the second largest city in the state of Bavaria. Most of the city was completely destroyed in WWII in a 90 minute blitz. hitler chose the town as the site for his annual Nazi Party Rallies.
The city first appears in the records of 1050 and developed into one of Europe's greatest trade towns in the 13th century.
It is an interesting tour and the burg or castle has been reconstructed to it's former glory.
Back on board we are now cruising the Main/Danube canal. At around 5pm we reach the Continental Divide. To celebrate the occasion we are given Blue champagne.
Tonight we dine in the Erlbnis Restaurant and are treated once again to a beautiful meal. The food and the service can not be faulted.
