We don't have far to travel today distance wise so have a leisurely start. However we had not bargained on a flat tyre. Hertz were no use at all. Basically change it and get it fixed! We were unable to get it off after many attempts so the concierge at the hotel called a tyre repair place and a guy can out and put air in and we followed him back to the workshop where they extracted the nail and fixed the puncture. Lovely hotel last night in Husafell, only 2 years old and in a beautiful location. From what we see Iceland doing its best to gear up for tourists. Day1 Left Keflavik airport in our Skoda Superb headed around the southern coast of the Reykjanes peninsula. We visited the Blue Lagoon, Krysuvik Geothermal Area and Kleifarvatn Lake with its black sand beaches.
