Today my Atlantic Canada adventure came to an end. I said "Adios" to mom and dad bright and early this morning as I had a flight out of St. John's at 6:30 am.

It's been a fun few weeks exploring the eastern part of our wonderful country, but I am looking forward to being in my own bed back home tonight! Although many people don't see the beauty of Manitoba - its flat, few trees in areas, and Winnipeg doesn't have the same 'pizzazz' that others cities might - it is home and I love coming back to it after every adventure that I am fortunate enough to have. Seeing the postage stamp squares of fields as I flew into Winnipeg this morning made me one content person.
