St. John's today! We left Terra Nova National Park this morning and made our way to St. John's. One person that we had met earlier in Newfoundland told us that St. John's often has lots of fog, so we were curious to see what the weather would be like as we got closer to the area. Today was another day filled mostly with driving. We left Rocky Harbour and headed to Terra Nova National Park, where we are spending the night. We had to be out of the campsite by noon today, and so we decided to go for a drive in the area to check it out before we had to pack up. We also decided to visit Norstead, which is a re-enactment of a Viking village that is located close to L'Anse aux Meadows. Today we drove up to the tip of the northern peninsula in Newfoundland, which is where the L'Anse aux Meadows national historic site is located. A significant portion of the day was spent driving as it is quite a trip from Rocky Harbour to L'Anse aux Meadows.
