Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well!? Danny and I are very hungover today (we checked out the local discos last night!)

We had a good flight from Bangkok to Phuket on Wednesday (it's only one hour 30 mins) - and guess who was stood next to us whilst looking at tour books? Mike Tyson and his entourage! He is soo scary - Danny asked him for a photo and he shook his said to say No - ha ha! I told Danny he shouldn't have given him the satisfaction of asking him for one, as he is a horrible ear biter with a scary face tattoo.

Anyway, just as we were getting ourselves a coffee we then saw one of the Olsen Twins - we're not sure which one it was so Danny didn't ask for a photo this time lol. I think perhaps the twin and Mike T had been shooting a film?? Watch this space!

A friend of the family's then collected us from the airport which was nice - and we spent Weds night at his Villa - which is amazing! Check out photos of it here:

Had a quiet night there - went for a swim and then the housekeeper "Jim" cooked us a lovely meal (so lovely that Danny had the Thai green curry for breakfast on the Thursday - nutter!)

So that we can see a bit more of the island, yesterday, Bill (family friend) brought us down to Patong which is a busy town in Phuket (We only packed our rucksacks as are planning to return to the villa saturday night to go sailing with him on his boat on Sunday!). Once in Patong, we checked into a little room in these appartments and then went for lunch in a traditional Thai restaurant that over looked the sea - Bill's friend joined us who is Thai and selected some really nice dishes - and then more odd ones like 6 month old eggs with sausage! - It actually tasted OK although we didn't go back for more!

After lunch the four of us all had a Thai massage which was so relaxing - I think I went into a real deep sleep - didn't want to leave! We then all went back to our rooms and got ready for a night on the town (as I forgot my blow dryer, I had a wash and blow dry at the local hairdressers - 250 Bahtt it cost me which is a fiver!) - Anyway last night; I can't go into too many details as am still feeling really queasy - But there were a lot of shots involved - put it that way! I can clearly remember though Danny being asked to bring home lady boys with him - on quite a few occassions which I found hillarious (Danny not so much!)

I woke up this morning (around 8.30 am) to hear Danny beeping a horn outside the room - then looked at him in confusion as he sat out in the car park in a bright yellow buggy car. For some reason Danny thought that today (bearing in mind we both feel sick as dogs) would be a good day to go out exploring. Well we did. We drove to a cafe - had egg on toast - and then drove the car back as neither of us felt up for "exploring". What a waste eh!?

Now we've had a sleep & picked up some fresh fruit - we're feeling a lot better and are meeting Bill and friends for dinner tonight (no drinking for me).

Just to let you all know - our Thai number is: 0849101536 (not sure what the dialling code you need to put in front of this number is, but I'm going to find out and will write it next time I update the blog) - sorry we haven't uploaded any photos yet - I was going to do it today but like wollies we've left the leads back at the Villa.

We're missing everyone lots already! Hope you have lovely weekends and I'll write a blog again on Sunday.
