Hey Guys,

We're now in Singapore and although the weather isn't exactly sunny, we're having a great time and really love the country. Since our last blog entry, we've done the following...

Saturday 8th Jan - Had a long lay in and booked our Singapore hotel for the 3 days. Went for a nice but expensive Italian lunch, played some pool and cards at the local sports bar. In the evening our northern couple friends (in the rooms next door to us) decided to call our room and put on an accent as if they were the hotel staff - told us our money hadn't gone through and that we owed 350 RM for the stay and for the water we've had out of the room - we fell for it big time but had a good giggle after (Danny and I are currently devising a prank to get our own back)!

On the whole we enjoyed Kuala Lumpur but stayed just a couple of days too long. As the weather wasn't great we felt it really was a place you need a couple of days to see and then pass through, however it was great to stay in the "Little Chinas" and "Little Indias" of Malaysia.

Sunday 9th Jan - Early start for us, got our coach down to Singapore which was lovely and really made the time go quick (never thought I'd describe a coach as lovely lol but when you've done tiny and smelly mini buses you really appreciate good transport!) Arrived and dumped bags at hotel and took the bus to Orachard road where they have some fantastic shops. Watched the Liverpool v Man U game in a local bar which consisted of a few garden chairs and lots of locals (won't say anymore as I'm sure Danny won't want to be reminded of this game when he looks back on our blog entries lol)

Monday 10th - Another early start and visit to "Sentosa" - a little island across from Singapore where we went to "Universal Studios", "Segway Racing" and "Luge Racing". Was a really fun day out (I enjoyed Shrek 4D and Steven Spillberg special effects show the best at UStudios). Sentosa as a place is fantastic and perfect for tourists; they have massive casinos, shopping malls, broadway shows, 5* resorts etc. We would definitely come back to Singapore and stay on this island (with quite a bit of cash though next time!)

Tuesday 11th Jan - Today! Can you believe it? We were up early again - 7am for the 3rd day in a row (and who said travelling was easy - ha!) Got an expensive cab over to Singapore Zoo today which was fab - uploaded a video of some baboons which were going mad having some sort of mass brawl so take a peak!

Have just got back to our hotel and nipped over to the cafe to update you all before we fly to Bali tomorrow (around 6 tomorrow evening).We're going to do the "Singapore Duck Tour" tomorrow (like the London one) to kill some time as we need to check out of our hotel before 12. Danny is currently in the hairdressers next door so I'm going to call round and check out the damage lol
