Hello Readers!

The picture on this blog is of the beach we're about 5 minutes away from; its by far our best location - now were that here in Krabi. It took us about 3 hours to get here from Phuket in the hire car as we got a little lost trying to get to the hotel.

Our hotel is lovely - we've just changed rooms actually as we only booked the 3 days here and did it over the net but have extended until Sunday (as we've decided if we're enjoying somewhere we'll stay - if not move on!) Anyway, this new room has a ladder from the balcony leading into the pool - cool eh!?

Weather has picked up now hoorah! And we went on a lovely boat trip around secluded islands on Wednesday and did loads of snorkeling, saw a great sunset and loads and loads of fish that love eating banana - and eating it out of your hands! (I got a bit freaked out in the end as there were just too many and they were nibbling my hands lol)

We had a couple of drinks last night in the Reggae bar which was fun - we met a Swedish girl and her Thai boyfriend on our first night so met up with them again last night which was fun (good to have conversations with people other than just ourselves!)

We also used Skype for the first time yesterday, early evening in an internet cafe to my Mum and Frankie which was really lovely and great to see them on there. I'm going to do it again on Saturday as missed little Lily Belle (and Dad n Josh) So if anyone else is around sat afternoon - log on for a chat, we are meika.aspell :)

We're off to Thai boxing tonight - it's meant to be a big event with contestants from all over the world (only comes to Krabi twice a year) and we have ring side seats - eek!! I hope it's not too brutal - don't want anyone or thing flying out of the ring into us?!

We've also reserved tickets to go Kayaking and elephant trekking on Saturday - woop woop! So I'll make sure we give you an update on Sunday - once we're back at the Phuket Villa (and have returned the hire car)
