Big day of exploring and shopping in Lucerne. Saw the old wooden bridge and some lovely churches. Walked out of the tourist area and managed to get a 3 course reasonably priced lunch - things have been quite expensive here.

Shopping wise bought myself a great Swiss Army knife and also a cuckoo clock - couldn't resist! I'm probably going to have to buy a carry on bag for the flight home though now - I only brought a day backpack with me on the way over.

Tomorrow we are off to Heidelberg and Frankfurt. I can't believe this time next week we will be home!
