Our European tour has begun! We are currently on our Contiki bus heading for the English Channel where we will board a ferry bound for France. First stop - Paris! We are very excited, however, our tour guide, Penny, has scared us a little too. She gave us a 45 minute speech warning us of everything from missing the bus to pickpocketing and from gypsies to the mafia! Her vision of Italy is very different to mine! We've had a very lazy rainy day, sleeping in until 11.30am and checking into our fancy hotel at 3 (free upgrade!). We had to book a room in the city because our tour leaves in the morning before the tubes start running. Unfortunately this means we have now left Kim's wi-fi home so blogging could be irregular from here on in. Kim arrived back from Poland this afternoon and she and her boyfriend met us for dinner at a pub near our hotel. I hate goodbyes!

After a cold, wet 4 hour wait we finally got to watch the NYE fireworks display on the Thames. A cool experience, however it doesn't really compare to Sydney Harbour. Getting home was a big event - sooooo many people!

We are enjoying a Mexican feast before heading to see the London NYE fireworks on the Thames. Earlier we visited the M&M store where we were blown away by 4 floors of M&M merchandise!

We have spent the afternoon strolling through Portobello markets. This is where all of the minis have been hiding! Ando said that it probably would have been cheaper to pay for Stu's flight over here than buy them all! Dad, there are so many antiques. You would have spent the whole week here! We were in the line for something special when the clock struck 1pm (12am AEST) and wished I was home for the hugs, kisses and noise. Miss you all and wish you a very happy...
