We are now at the airport and, as you can see in the photo, we are sad that our amazing holiday has come to an end, but are also happy to be coming home to our own bed, our lovely families and some warm weather. Ciao Europe, see ya soon Oz!

Amsterdam is a lot nicer than American movies make it out to be. During the day it is an extremely beautiful city built around canals. There are tulips everywhere. Everyone rides a bike... I'm not kidding. There are bikes everywhere, including a 3 storey parking lot just for bikes! We visited Anne Frank's house/museum today and absolutely loved it. Obviously it was depressing, especially after our visit to the concentration camp, but her story continues to add to...

On our final drive day to Amsterdam we visited a cheese and clogs barn. We saw a demonstration on how to make dutch cheese and we also saw a man make a wooden clog! Fascinating! It didn't take long for him to make it, however, I suspect it wouldv'e taken a very long time to make the one Scott is wearing in the photo (please excuse the quality.
