Deb Welcome. home with open arms
re: Pokolbin, New South WalesDeb Can't wait to see you. Missed you.
re: Amsterdam, NetherlandsDeb I am glad you saw and appreciated the other side of Amsterdam. I had heard it was beautiful. That lunch sounds devine. I could easily dress as a dutch lady with cardboard clogs for our theme dinner but from now on you travellers will be able to tell my costumes are not really very authentic and a little bit silly. All of your cruises around the various cities sounds like a highlight to me. Can not wait to relive your travels with you. I am sooo excited and want to hear it all.
re: Amsterdam, NetherlandsJack lol Kaylene. Jack said add a motor,a steering wheel and four wheels and he would love it.
re: Amsterdam, NetherlandsGrando Hope you have a great last day - looking forward to have you safely home in Oz. Mum said there are plenty of weeds at her place if you feel you have missed out!
re: Amsterdam, NetherlandsDeb Sensible people. You have had your share of natural highs this holiday. They are the best!!!!!! As for the photo, dad said " If the shoe fits wear it." I thought the photo was hilarious. lol.
re: Amsterdam, NetherlandsKaylene Speaking of vineyards, I am a little bit miffed because I went to so much trouble to try and do exciting things when the girls were staying, and wouldn't you know it , they both enjoyed walking throught your vineyard to collect the mail and voted it the best thing of the holiday!!!
re: St Goar, GermanyDeb You will need to detox when you come home. Soooo much food, wine and beer. The giant cuckoo clock sounds fascinating if not annoying. Enjoy your last couple of days.
re: St Goar, GermanyKaylene I could have used one of those tally recording devices on the pantry door when the boys were at home...... not that they needed anything to encourage any more competing!
re: Prague, Czech RepublicKaylene Sorry we missed your call, we were collecting the M, E & E - got home at 2.20am from the airport. They managed to fit all their luggage in the car, so we didn't need that semi-trailor after all. Debbie, would you like to borrow our "bridge zapper" if you are going to collect the travellers - it certaily makes going across the bridge etc much easier?
re: Prague, Czech RepublicDeb It seems like there is food associated with everyone of your adventures. What food will we have when you show us your photos? It should be a lot because I think it will take a long time. Can't wait! I think you might be just getting a little tired not old or boring or experienced or wise. Maybe, pubs are becoming a little like castles and churches......... a lot of them !!!
re: Prague, Czech RepublicDeb Do not cave into peer pressure..... be strong on the inside. Don't you both use this talk to students at least once a day. lol. Loved our phone call today. Remarkably clear for such a looooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggggg distance.
re: Prague, Czech RepublicKaylene Megan you know I love reading your daily news, but Debbie I enjoy your comments almost as much! Sometimes I should just say ditto.
re: Semmering, AustriaDeb So glad you got your snow boarding in. So glad you are not lost in an unknown town. So glad you are back safe and soooo glad you are having a stupendous holiday. What a varied holiday you have had so many diverse activities. I can not wait to read tomorrows blog.
re: Semmering, Austriameganandscott No and no. How disappointing! We haven't had a chance to look at much real estate. We're always so busy!
