Went to Barbagallo Raceway at Wanneroo today to see the v8 supercars. Was an awesome day, very hot!! The track is really tiny, the v8s were doing a lap in less then 1 minute, think the fastest for them was around 57secs but they had a car there that did the lap in 50 secs. That is fast!!

Garth Tander ended up winning all 3 races which was great for him as he is originally from WA so Barbagallo is like his home track and he has never won here before so he will definitely be celebrating.

Hard luck story of the weekend goes to James Courtney in the Jeld Wen Stone Brothers Racing Falcon. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong for James. He crashed in qualifying but managed to sit 6th on the starting grid, dropped 5 places to 11th in race one due to pushing it too hard and driving off the track, DNF the 2nd race and DNF the 3rd race and pranged his car up good. He ended up walking back through the crowd to the pits in the 3rd race!! Poor guy it just wasn't his weekend.

This year I have decided to support Team Vodafone - 888 racing - for a few reasons.

1) Most of the people I know support Holden so I am going to support Ford just to be different

2) Jamie Whincup is H O T

3) The Falcons have an awesome paintjob and look great

Aren't they just typical girly reasons for supporting a team??!

Team Vodafone didn't do too well this weekend. Had a lot of car problems but the season is young and I'm sure they will be back and ready to race come Pukekohe in a couple of weeks!!
