Went to Barbagallo Raceway at Wanneroo today to see the v8 supercars. Was an awesome day, very hot!! The track is really tiny, the v8s were doing a lap in less then 1 minute, think the fastest for them was around 57secs but they had a car there that did the lap in 50 secs. Happy Birthday to me!! Last night I found a great way to celebrate getting older. My flatmate Clint works for Hitachi and they had a work do so I went along as well. Since it was St Patrick's Day it was always going to be a big one and it definitely ended up that way. We started at about 4 at The Lucky Shag (there's a photo of it in the Perth album) and managed to sink a fair few before we got on a bus at about 6.30 and headed out towards the Swan Valley ...

Well time for a bit of an update I think. So we are in the middle of a mini heatwave, been about 42 degrees for about the last 3 days. Crazy weather. Haven't been doing much as it's too hot to go outside especially when I am walking everywhere at the moment without a car! Been here 5 weeks now and still no job. John Avison and I went to AQWA (Aquarium of Western Australia) today. It is out at Hillary's Boat Harbour which is north of Perth CBD. Awesome fish and things to see. Bit of a come down after being away on the bus for the week.  Back to the real world now, I have to try find a job and get some money!

The last day of the trip today.Had a look at the "Two-Up" ring which is a game that was invented by the ANZACs in the trenches where they gamble about whether 2 coins will land 2 heads or 2 tails up.
