Day 31 - Longreach

Its time to head home. We packed up and it the road around 8:30. A quick morning tea stop at Bourke and Wills Roadhouse and then lunch at Julia Creek. We travelled on and after a few tense kilometres with the petrol gauge reading 0km to empty we rolled into Longreach at around 7:15.

We had tea at the pub and then shouted ourselves the luxury of a cabin for the night to save getting the tent wet. We were all very excited by not having to walk too far to get to the toilet in the middle of the night!
