Day 7 In The Big Beijing House

A fairly un-eventful day today, mainly due to having a bit of a pounding hangover.

We all surfaced quite late before starting to get our cases packed for heading onto Hong Kong.

We headed back up to the Irish Bar at Wangfujing to get some dinner. We must have been hungry as there was still room for more after 3 courses! Was really good food.

We then went to the night market as we had heard a lot of stories about it so thought we couldnt take a trip to Beijing without sampling it......

I wish we didnt......

Scorpions, snakes, sheeps testicles......

You name it, these wee BBQ stalls had it.

Colin was in his element walking about seeing what was being cooked up. Me and Laura on the other hand were close to seeing our 3 course meal on the pavement.

It was a good finish to what was a fantastic 7 days in Beijing.
Definently a place to visit.

Very daunting to start with but once you work out where everything is etc then its a cracking place to be. The chinese are facinating people!
