Day 3 In The Big Beijing House

It was an early morning rise after a good nights sleep (all thanks to Mr Stella Artois) and a perfect day to welcome us.

We took a taxi to Happy Valley Theme Park.
20km for £2. Bargain!

Appears we picked the wrong day to visit the park. A lot of the main rollercoasters were closed and the park was very busy. Add in 30 degrees heat and the apetite for queuing quickly disappears.

We only ended up going on two rides before heading to Pizza Hut for some lunch. Chicken Curry on a Pizza Hut menu isnt something you see everyday but it certainly filled a gap.

Taxi ride home was probably scarier than any ride on show at Happy Valley as we not only managed to nearly crash once, but twice. Just when we thought all was safe after narrowly avoiding the a collision on the left handside a car came at us from the right.

However, we are back in the apartment and safe and sound.

All in all a pretty quiet day and an early night is in store to recharge the batteries for visiting the Olympic Park tomorrow.
