NYE we made our way to Quibaree Park just next to Lavender bay. The view of the harbour bridge was great and we could just about see the opera house in the distance. By avoiding being caught with our alcohol by the time of the first firework show at 9.30 we were all fairly drunk and then at midnight our group was all up singing and dancing into 2014. The journey home was a nightmare with most of the roads in the city being closed off. We finally got home at about 4.30 after leaving just after 12! By far the best NYE I've ever had though, great way to start the new year!
