After spending the evening of the 10th in Auckland we were up early again to head down to Hot water beach. I signed up for sea kayaking when we arrived. After pairing up we set off along the coast line to cathedral cove where the water has created caves all along the beaches. After an emotional goodbye to everyone at Brado's on Tuesday morning I got on the plane to Auckland arriving at nomads fat camel hostel at 2am. This was my shortest stay at any hostel to date by checking out at 6.45am for the first leg of my kiwi bus. I headed north up towards the bay of Islands.
