Day 1: Sydney bridge/ opera house and Goon!
So, air India, pretty much what we expected but they got us to Australia so that's all that matters. After we landed we got a train to king cross, double decker trains is still a sight! Leaving the station we asked two police women directions and they ended up taking us to the hostile. Police escort after 10mins of arriving in Australia. First impressions of the hostile was good. Nice tv room kitchen, dinning table. Our room, seemed small and dirty to begin with but we are quickly getting used to it.
After moving in was finished we went for a wonder around Sydney. The wonder turned into a trek but we did get to see the Sydney bridge and opera house from many different lovely angles, with some decent street performers thrown in as well.
When we got back from our walk we made the most of cheap dominoes night ($4.90 for a medium) and acquired our first box of goon from a group who were leaving for half price. We started eating and drinking in the kitchen area and when everyone started getting involved had a quality pre drinks. We ended up in a decent club called trademark. And that's about the end of what I remember.
