Almost a week into 2nd session and so far this session I've been busy. I was put in charge along with Mark of the 12U swim team for the upcoming gala. 3rd week at camp included a few different activities. My bunk had town night for their evening activity which included a cinema visit to see Planet of the Apes, followed by a supermarket stop off to give the kids a chance to buy some candy for the bunk. The week leading up to our second day off went smoothly. Really started bonding with all the kids, swimming lessons continued to go well. Soccer games in the morning have been going well. Scoring plenty of goals pretty much securing my spot for the staff match in august. Independence Day. American flags everywhere and we were given USA flag bandaners which we wore most of the day. It was supposed to be America's Cup all day but due to the rain, the competition was shorten to inside activities. Sunday was the first day we had off. Friday the 27th of June, the day the kids arrived. We got assigned our bunks a few days before so Pete and I prepared the bunk for their arrival.
