The week leading up to our second day off went smoothly. Really started bonding with all the kids, swimming lessons continued to go well. Soccer games in the morning have been going well. Scoring plenty of goals pretty much securing my spot for the staff match in august. Bunk nights on Monday where as a bunk we go to a campfire spot around the peninsula and cook hot dogs and Smor's on the fire. Campfire on Wednesday nights where kids and staff perform skits. Friday night all staff meeting discussing upcoming events etc. Continue to have every other night off after 9pm. So Sunday came around and we decided to go for a canoe trip around the pond. In total we were canoeing for around 2 hours until we found a spot to stop and cook some lunch on a fire. Spent the rest of the afternoon there before getting back to watch the World Cup final.
