Beautiful, warm morning. We say goodbye to Viv and Jan and set off for another agri-tourism place near the old port of Rovinj. On the way we must pass Limski Canal, described in books as 'fjord-like', and they're not wrong. The road is a busy, two-way but very narrow with a lumpy rock face on our nearside and a strip of 'Armco-into-space on the other. It's so refreshing to wake to the sounds of the countryside after weeks on sites. Beside us is a large meadow with wild flowers, butterflies and swallows. Later in the morning we drive to Porec to find a Lidl or Plodine. N+G follow on the bike. After shopping we head into Porec centre but the motorhome parking is a bit far from the old town so we return to Jadruhi while N+G go to see the town. The cyclists have left before we are up but the road opposite the site is busy with a flea-market/boot-sale. From bad first impressions this site has been a good stopover after all. The weather is warm and sunny again as we get packed up and leave around 12:30 As we ae filling with water Ali chats to an Italian camper who is scrubbing his truffles and waxing lyrical about their taste. We catch up on 'housework' then wander in to town. From one of the alleyways we hear folk music and singing which we find is coming from outside a winery, so we stop to listen for a minute. Next thing we are presented with a glass of wine each and find out it is a promotion for the latest year's wine.
