So this morning was early!! Well, around 7am wake up call, and I forced myself out of bed at 7.30 for breakfast. Breakfast was short, as we had the final bits and pieces to pack up and put in the car. We left around 8.30 after a picture in front of their house. We said goodbye and thank you to Gordon and Brigita then left. We were going to stop off at Ken's office to say bye, but he was in a meeting so we couldn't.
We drove about a half hour away to Kericho Golf Club, where we were supposed to meet our driver who was going to take us down to Lake Victoria, but he was an hour late. So we waited around and had drinks, then when he arrived (finally) we packed up the luggage, said bye to Krissie, Karen and Seamus, then left.
The journey took about 4 hours in all, and half of that was on bumpy roads. But our driver was very good at avoiding big holes and bumps!! We arrived at Wayando Beach Club on Rusinga Island just after 2, and had some lunch. We then settled into our rooms - mum and dad have got their own Banda, and us 3 kids are sharing a Banda that's cut into 2 sections, so I've got the double bed in one section, and the boys have got twin beds in the other.
We chilled around for a bit and played games, until supper - the most disgusting egg curry I have ever tasted in my life. The other option was fish though, and there was no way I was eating that!!
After supper we carried on playing cards for a bit, then all went to bed.
