So here we are in this amazing part of the world. After 5 hours on the first flight to Washington DC and another 15 hours and 16 minutes (I counted every one of them)..... we are finally here, showered, feeling refreshed with a red wine in hand.
The blog title refers to the strange instructions we recieved on South African Airlines.   I could understand what they were saying but now I don't understand what they mean. Could be a long month.
The bad news was that we got a SSSS designation in US Customs which meant a special screening including dusting for drugs or something and shoes off and body pat down etc.... Pretty exciting stuff and all before 6AM. The good news is that our lugguage arrived safe and sound (though mine had been gone through).
At the Emerald House we were greeted with a warm atmosphere and a cozy place to stay. Would recommend this to travellers. However, remember to make sure they know you're coming or you could get a hastle in the end. We have been treated very well.   Hope dinner and breakfast is good.
Tomorrow we rent a car and head north to Rustenburg. Here we go!!!
