Hi everybody,

Still over here in Brisbane. Have been getting on great with my new house mates. We've had some great nights out and we spent Australian Day together on the Gold Coast at a beach I missed on my way up the coast. It was called Kings Cliff and it was the best beach I've ever been to yet. There was a huge river and the water was crystal clear and you could swim in it along side the fishes. The sand was like white powder it was that fine that it squeaked as you walked along. We went for a swim in the ocean but we had to make a quick exit after the lifeguards spoted a shark swimming close to the surfers. It was a very warm day and I came home a glowing red with sun-burn.

On the job front I've decided to become a traffic controller. I applied for my licence about 2 weeks ago and should be receiving it in the next couple of days. It's getting very hard over here to get work with 1000 construction workers lossing their jobs last week due to Australia entering into the world recession.

With not working to earn any money, for the first time I'm having to watch where I'm spending my money and the cost of things. hopefully this with all change when I get my traffic controller licence and start earning again.
