On bus at 8am, off to Culloden battlefield then on the whiskey trail to Glenlivet. We had a guided tour and samples, Debbie liked tour more than the whiskey!!! Detour to the airport to pick up late arrivals then drove to Fort William through Rannoch More and Glencoe, spectacular and raw scenery, clouds too low to see Ben Nevis. After lunch at Spean Mill, onto Loch Ness on a great monster hunt. Mark starting to fell unwell, got to Inverness about 5pm, group meal then we had a nice walk after tea through the town with many old buildings with lots of character. Slept in til 8am!!! yah finally. Walked into town to do some shopping and then got taxi to suburbs to do washing at a laundrette. Back to hotel in arvo to do something we hadn't done in a month - watch a movie - it was great. Met the new group for drinks and dinner, OMG what have we got ourselves into?! We are the babies by 20 years. Two things we forgot obviously, our hearing aids and zimmer frame - lol.

Travelling Day, made our own way to airport via Vienna Metro. 4 hr stop over in Heathrow, had first familar food for ages - it was great, F & C with mushy peas and roast beef and yorkshire pud - very english! Got to Glasgow at tea time and visited Fabbie and Beattie in Pollock, left at 10.30, was good to catch up.
