Started the day with tour of Belfast in morning with Hilda, industrial city with a population of 500,000 but very clean and new compared to other cities. Then on fast ferry (cat) to Stranrear, sat with Gulen a lovely Turkish lady on our tour, she considers herself a comedian, and she really tickles by funnybone, she taught us a little Turkish which will be helpful for our next tour. Then two hour drive to Glasgow, checked into yet another lovely Radison Blu hotel...

Slept in til 8am!!! yah finally. Walked into town to do some shopping and then got taxi to suburbs to do washing at a laundrette. Back to hotel in arvo to do something we hadn't done in a month - watch a movie - it was great. Met the new group for drinks and dinner, OMG what have we got ourselves into?! We are the babies by 20 years. Two things we forgot obviously, our hearing aids and zimmer frame - lol.

Travelling Day, made our own way to airport via Vienna Metro. 4 hr stop over in Heathrow, had first familar food for ages - it was great, F & C with mushy peas and roast beef and yorkshire pud - very english! Got to Glasgow at tea time and visited Fabbie and Beattie in Pollock, left at 10.30, was good to catch up.
