Off on day tour early again!!! Went to Bath, saw old Roman Baths. Thermal spring that created a health camp for Romans and then the gentery in 17th century. Had a real cornish pastie for lunch - yummo. Then to Salisbury Cathedral, thought it was going to be another ABC but was very interesting and had the Magna Carta there. Spire is bent as foundation is slumping. Then to Stonehenge, this was really cool to see for real. Amazing to think they moved the massive pieces of rock (that weighed as much as 3 buses) without wheels - they hadn't been invented yet! This dates back to 2400BC with the site being used since 3000BC. Got back to London at 7pm, walked to Trafalgar Square via West Minister Abbey and Downing St. Had a pub tea, Debbie had a Pimm's, pies and Mark had curry and Lager. Got Black Cab home, chatty driver.
