Sunny and wındy 15oC. Up early and walked to St Pancras train station (I love this place amazing building to look at very old and regal on the outside and very modern on the inside) to get the eurostar traın to Brussels, then change train for the hour trip to Brugges, just made the connection without a minute to spare. Caught a cab to the hotel, very much like Venice here lots of canals, nice hotel right in the centre of town. Found a laundromat and did some much needed washing. Had a late lunch, while waiting for washing to dry, at a creperie, shared a savory and sweet crepe. After dropping off washing went for a walk around medieval Brugge, lots of old buildings very detailed with lots of guilding on them. Quite expensive here. Had a late dinner after exploring Mark had Flemish beef stew - best ever, mind you he had said that about a lot of things ha ha and I had cheese croquet, and what did we have for dessert?? Well Belgium waffles of course!! and I wonder how come i'm gaining weight ;)
