Docked in Mykonos at 7am, got shuttle bus to town, then walked around the town, it started to rain, and we got well n truly lost!! Haven't seen rain for a while, took some recognising lol. All the buildings are white washed and they have these funny looking windmills with thatched roofs, lots of hanging gardens over the white wash with very colourful flowers, which makes a lovely contrast to the very brown and barren hills. Went to the Maritime museum a quick escape from the rain. Then we hired a quad bike and went to Elia beach didn't swim but hung out for a while had some lunch there. Then toured the island by quad bike, it was only a 50cc so was a bit slow up the hills, Mark did very well driving on the wrong side of the road, and I did very well sitting on the back of the bike trying to trust everyone else's crazy driving, no helmets here! By the time we got back on the boat it was very hot and sunny, time for more swimming and relaxing, when its too hot we go indoors to the solarium which has an indoor pool and is air conditioned. The crew on the boat are so hard working and extremely pleasant always saying hello and asking how your day has been. Just for something different, had dinner and a went to the nightly show lol. One of the most beautiful sunsets tonight, always spectacular seeing the sun go down on the water.
