Had breakie at the hostel - bit of a regular occurance but its so yummy and fills us up!We decided that today was the day that we tackled the big mountain - Mount Sulphur! I was a little unsure as i was really aching still from the bike ride, climbing tunnel mountain and horse riding yet when we got to the base of the mountain it seemed lazy to go up in the gondola and it is so much more rewarding when you've hiked it! First thing, we enquired about wildlife tours in the hope that we would see moose and bears but unfortunately not! May get to see a grizzly bear in Lake Louise but no moose! We then made our way along a trail to Vermillion Lakes. Was a nice walk there - shame about the weather though - a bit overcast again. The lakes themselves were not as we'd hoped so didn't spend long there. We followed the trail along the river back into town. We have changed our plans again ...

Had breakfast at the hostel again! Weather didn't look too great - very cloudy and dull! As soon as we left we could feel drops of rain but we ploughed on! Our plan was to catch the bus to the 'Hoodoos' which are famous rock formations! However, once on the bus the route seemed very short and before we knew it we ended up coming back on ourselves and back into town! We grabbed some breakfast in the hostel/lodge - it was huge!! We then headed into town to hire some bikes for the day! Was very cheap - only about 15pounds each for the day! Our aim was to reach Lake Minnewanka. On the map it looked like a fairly simple route - 8km! Was wierd at first getting used to riding on the right hand side of the road - had to remind ourselves each time we had stopped! Woke up early and went for a walk through the local park. We then made our way to the coach station. We were feeling adventurous so took the train and walked! Didn't take long - in fact it was probably quicker than getting the taxi! Coach to Banff was defo the best journey yet! The views were amazing and much better than we had imagined!
