We've made it to Montreal in one piece. The drive was just shy of three hours as we took a leisurely drive along 417 into Quebec. The Infinity has worked really well, it fits our luggage to a tee and it's heavenly to drive - like flying on a cloud.

We thought we'd check our hotel reservations first - before we did anything based on my date screw-up yesterday. We spoke with Vikki and she confirmed that everything was set for our arrival, albeit not until 9:00 p.m. So we left to explore feeling confident that the mistake had been corrected.

We set off for Mount Royal and the Basilica of Saint Joseph. A little confusing, plus the the Montreal traffic but we finally found the church on the hill. After a few pictures we decided that it was time to head back and maybe look for a place for dinner.

We're in our room, nice - certainly better appointed that our previous stay at the Business Inn, so we're here for a couple of days - the plan is that we'll head downtown via the METRO tomorrow and visit Old Montreal and some of the shopping areas on the main streets.
