So much has happened since we left our hotel in Grand Falls that I guess I've been just too busy to put pen to paper so-to-speak. At this point I've driven close to 5,600 kilometers from the time we left Toronto so my arse is just a little tender. We stopped for lunch in Badger, Newfoundland at a quaint little lunch spot. Since I was a teenager in Parkdale I've been on a quest to find a Hot Turkey Sandwich that matched what they offered at the Edgewater Hotel....

We had a little disruption in our hotel last night - around 10:30 there was an apparent "medical emergency" at the room directly across from ours. After lots of knocking the police showed up and had to breakdown the door - it was cool watching it through our peep hole - after about 30 tries he finally got the door open enough that he could wedge in a bar to open it the last little way. Yet another hotel debacle last night. This time it was a toilet issue that couldn't be resolved. I guess that this would have been about our tenth different hotel since we left Toronto, so the law of averages has to come into play. We've tried to book a lot of our hotels on line, so in this instance it seemed that I booked a "smoking room".
