ohhh my poor head is killing me! I am not sure why but the amount of sun might have something to do with it. When I woke up this morning, it was warm outside, but grey as the whole sky was covered with clouds. Better for my skin for a day I thought, but it didn't last long. The clouds disappaared during the day and the temperature rose till 33 degrees in the after noon.
It was an exciting day, and I blame Verdasco and his team for that. The practice of Feliciano wasn't that interesting as he was on a back court and you couldn't see too well through the blue stuff. But at least we have seen it, because this was from noon till 1. Then we had lunch, sitting in the middle of everything in the shade as all seats were taken en something inside of me said it was good to be back at 2... Guess what, it was Fernando who was on court, with long sleeves in the heat! :O He was on one court for an hour, and then hopped over to another court for another hour. So two hours intense practice we saw. Not bad at all. After this last hour Fernando came our direction and we were able to see him up close and I got to complete my mission, asking him if he could sign a birthday card for a friend. And he did so me was very smiley afterwards. This time no freezing, but a happy face of a happy girl :)).
A well deserved icecream later, we hopped on to court 1 to see the match of Pablo Andujar versus Julien Benneteaut. Unfortunatelhy the frenchman won the match. Two others were pleased though, a father and son from France, with who we talked earlier while watching Fernando.
After this match it was time to call it a day, sounds very short, but of course there were more practices to be watched. Marc and Marcel for example, or Fabio Fognini... for me still Forza Fabio. ;) Then I went to my hostel to get packed as I am moving to another hostel tomorrow. Did some laundry, went to the supermarket, Yeah well, you know, they expect it to be 43 degrees tomorrow here in sydney! :O So I have a two liter bottle of orange juice, some food for during the day, a fruit salad, peaches, water and yes, I take it all to the tennis tomorrow. :P
One more day to go at the tournamnt and then it's on to Melbourne. I wish these weeks would never end... Now let me put some pics on the blog or I fall asleep while typing. I am exhausted every day here, travelling is hard work! :))
