Hey all,

I got to Brisbane on the Thursday after Australia Zoo. My hostel was above a pub, called the Prince Consort. Was fairly tired so went to bed early. Stayed n Brisbane for 5 days. There was some really nice parts but I wouldn't say its my favourite city.

My hostel was in the night club part of it, and its not always fun to go out on your own.

hey did you know it is illegal to drink alcohol on Good Friday unless it is with a meal. Hence, all the night clubs opened at midnight. Friday day there wasnt many shops open. So i took a walk by the river- which was just gorgeous. I think i love the river. Saturday they were all open! I even tried on a few clothes. (i know i cant buy them but it feels good just to pretend). Met Gemma and Pete for a drink Saturday night (I think they are following me), the fire alarms went off and all the staff were v.drunk, had a few there and then they walked me home.

Sunday I walked to SouthBank which is just accross the river, past the botanical gardens. Had a really good day, bought a couple gifts from the markets, and saw a stunt man show. Monday just walked around again and Tuesday I left.

Came onto Surfers Paradise and I have to say, I think I'm in love with the place. Unfortunately I have to leave but i do love it here.
