G'Day

Well no lie in this morning, we headed into town to pick up our photos that we had taken while snorkelling and diving at the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef, nearly all of them came out OK.

Then we went to find ourselves a trip to Litchfield National Park and crocodile feeding which we did successfully and will be doing tomorrow. It was so hot again today that we took refuge at the movies for a couple of hours. The big surprise on leaving was that the heavens had opened and it was bucketing it down and we got soaked in luke warm rain water which was nice.

Our big trip was to the night markets at Mindil Beach which we set off to at 5pm on the bus, the plan was to pig out on Malaysian food and look around the craft stalls before watching the sun set on the beach drinking wine. Unfortunately they had all started packing up due to the rain even though it had stopped earlier.

We had no choice but to head back into town and have dinner before making our way back to the hostel. As I am sat writing this it has just started to rain again and I mean rain, really heavy. This rain should not be arriving for another month at least.
