Mapps onTour
We picked up our hire car, feeling a little bit worse for wear (must have been something we ate!), and set off on our journey up the coast.
First stop was Port Douglas which is a small beach town, very quiet and upmarket. We had a little walk around the town and after realising that Laura had lost her flight tickets (OH MY GOD!!) we made a few phone calls and had to head back to Cairns to sort replacements out, before continuing on our journey to Daintree. This little village consists of a few houses, a couple of restaurants and that's about it, but it was really picturesque and very Australian. We then took the cable ferry across to Cape Tribulation to spend the night.
