I'm writing this as we begin our 13 hour journey from Sucre to La Paz. The last two days in Sucre have been pretty chilled out during the day with interesting nights. On Friday, we went to the highly recommended El patio saltena restaurant to pick up some takeaway saltenas and return to the hostel. For anyone who hasn't tried a saltena, they are amazing and this is a fact. Our third full day in Sucre began by being awoken by some kin of sporting match going on in the school behind our hostel. We aren't sure what game they are playing but it starts pretty early and involves a lot of whistling which gets through the paper thin walls and windows ridiculously easy. Our first day in Sucre was mainly spent exploring the city and getting used to where everything was located. As we are spending around 5 days here, this allows us the time to do this.
