Awoke hoping this lurgy has b*****ed off, no such luck. Karen and I strolled across to Buffalo Bills Casino and had brekky in Dennys (dont worry about counting how many Dennys as it is probably more than I have mentioned in these blogs). Brekky consumed, Karen disappeared into the Premium Outlets and I headed back to the room, 37C at 9am so going to be a very hot day. I spent quite a few hours just lazying around in the room and catching up on my travelpod writings. Received a facebook notice from Mal and Sharon Ive informing me they have just left Vegas heading north to Virginia City. b*****, we did not know each other was in Vegas the same time. Would have been great to catch up with Mal and Sharon here. I should have guessed, it has been I think the last 3 years in a row we have been in USA at the same time. Such is life. Karen and I decided to head over to Whiskey Petes Casino across the road. We have been to Primms about 4 or 5 times but never to Whiskey Petes. Walk in the entance and b***** me, Bonnie and Clydes actual getaway car from the shoot out is in there. Inside a sealed glass container is also bonnies shirt from the shoot out. One of the pieces that made me think it was genuine (before I checked on the internet) was the exit holes or lumps from the rounds. Most fakes have entry holes, this one has lumps on the other side of the car where the round had lost oomph and just dented the metal out. Looking at all the holes I wonder how the cops didn't shoot each other in the process. I reckon it would be worth a few shekels these days. Due to our d*** around when booking in we were provided a free buffet dinner for two. This obviously is not in the league of Wynn or Ceasars but was very reasonable and we left very contented. Lets see what tomorrow brings.
