Woke to a bloody cold morning. It is not just the temp but the bitterly cold wind. Called in a few stores (Kmart type equivalent ) to grab a beanie and no one stocks them as the cold season is over (could have fooled me). There is a distinctly different attitude here than in the cities. You see someone pull up in the middle of the road to say hi to a friend they have just seen, they are holding up traffic but everyone just waits patiently until the conversation is over. Really hard to get used to. Headed to Wicklow to check out Wicklow Gaol. It has appeared on Ghost Busters International tv show. I was quite disappointed with it. Too tacky. The weather was miserable, decided to wander down to Wicklow Main Street for lunch. Started sleeting, thought we were going to get full on snow. Down to about 7c at lunchtime. Loving the Bars in Ireland, a lot of them are serving beers from local micro breweries and they are really good. Had a good night with a few beers with Karen's brother Colin and Jacquie.
