Lynda and Fred Travels
After a big brekky we headed out of Torquay. It was thundering and lightening all night but not too bad in morning. We made it Appollo Bay for coffee with just light sprinkles....then as we were getting out of the car for coffee the storm hit....never above 9 degrees all day...gale force winds and pounding rain....needless to say the drive between Appollo Bay and. WArrnambool was very challenging...lots of water on the road and local flooding and the wind was so great you real needed to hang on to the steering wheel....at least we were passed the hairy turns by then....lovely lunch stop at Port Campbell in cute little pub with fire on and view of stormy waters..safe and sound in Warrnambool for night
