Well we all had an early breakfast at hotel and headed off for St Andrews golf club. The guys all played together and the girls did too. Pauline and I were partners and we played with Meryl and Judy. Was a real tough course and so many hills and steep climbs...like a four wheel,drive journey...and was a challenge to find the red markers...on the 9th we could not even find the markers so went to the green and drove back up the fairway to the start! Mostly it was pleasant weather...very windy but that kept it cool....but by the end a huge storm was rolling in and it became freezing...we were lucky and did not get wet but the two sets of girls after us did unfortunately....Pauline and I complemented each other well and we got 48 points and took the winnings. Fred played with Andy and they came second.....so we were both winners much to everyone's surprise! Came home, had a nice hot shower and got our fire working....watched the chase...then out to dinner at hotel with Trevor and Liz...had spicy pumpkin soup...yummy!!!
