Today we slept in....then went and bought ourselves 2 Panama hats after Lynda went to gym....then off to bus depot again to get bus to take us on a submarine...my first experience...was superb...mind you the fish and coral was nothing like Australia! No coral at all...just man made objects and a crashed plane and shipwreck...not many fish either...a few big turtles though! Back to base to watch semi final soccer game and enjoy take away Reuben bites..yum, yum...t...

Well today we took the blue bus to diamond head and went right into the crater...beautiful views of the coastline from top of crater. Not as spectacular trip as yesterday but nice all the same. Tuesday July 7th.....happy 5th anniversary Fred and Lynda! We got up early, checked out, got over to Waikiki beach wyndham resort and they let us into a room right away! How nice! Had breakfast at Denny's, our favourite...then off on blue bus for some sightseeing...drove via Waikiki beach...just packed! Up to Hanauma Bay, a huge round bay as a result of a volcanoes which has a beautiful beach and great marine life. The coastline was wonderful...rocky, lots of bea...

Well we started the morning by Fred saying Lynda why don't you repack! What I said...but he was right to suggest one suitcase for Hawaii and CALABOGIE and one for the cruise. I was up the night before till midnight working on Amy's recipe book as she made me feel so bad about not having it ready as I promised. House was clean, cases were packed, notes were complete...nothing left to do...then I re packed, did wash, fixed batteries for TV, had several phone calls ...

What a nice day! Finally weather has cleared and it is nice all day..no clouds in site! The Salty Dog gave us a hot breakfast...second in our whole trip! We enjoyed breakfast and chatting with the proprietor....then off to Snells beach to walk for an hour along the lovely path next to the beach. Then off to the apparently biggest markets in NZ...they are so different from ours...no clothes...lots and lots of takeaway food..creeps, whitebait fritters, pippi fritte...
