Tuesday July 7th.....happy 5th anniversary Fred and Lynda! We got up early, checked out, got over to Waikiki beach wyndham resort and they let us into a room right away! How nice! Had breakfast at Denny's, our favourite...then off on blue bus for some sightseeing...drove via Waikiki beach...just packed! Up to Hanauma Bay, a huge round bay as a result of a volcanoes which has a beautiful beach and great marine life. The coastline was wonderful...rocky, lots of beaches, windy steep roads...views everywhere....inland was very mountainous, with villages in the valleys and on top of the mountain ranges! Then to Halona Blow Hole and to a great surfing beach - Sandy beach...only good for Aussies or Californians...otherwise too dangerous! Then back home. We grabbed some lunch at home...Fred had a rest, I went to gym and spoiled myself with a spa bath. Then we went to a lovely restaurant for our anniversary...Ocean House Restaurant at the Outrigger! Fred had the red snapper and I had the slow roasted prime rib....they gave us a free mango desert and took a photo of us as it was our anniversary...restaurant was right on the beach and we watched sunset...superb! Then we found a piano bar where they played jazz music...very very good! Beautiful evening!
