Well we said goodbye to our friends last night with a Thai dinner on bribie...really nice time. Got up this morning and cleaned floors after jaylo visiting...then went to lyn and Stans to say farewell and pick up umbrella....back to pack and at noon Keith and chris came for coffee and goodbyes....lyn picked us up at 1:30 and we got to airport to find flight delayed one hour....so hung around till 6:30 playing crib in pub when it finally left...long flight...not m...

It's moms birthday today so I caught up on all the Calabogie news! It's labour day weekend so everyone gets ready to leave Calabogie for the big city after this weekend...only Mom and Susan and Barry left! Fred and I took what was to be a 4 1/2 hour trip and turned out 6 hours! We kayaked 2 miles down a beautiful river...then walked 100 miles down a mud track which was extremely challenging till eventually we found the secret waterfalls...no wonder it was secret!...

Because we got 30% off all tours and $100 spending money to boot, we said we would sit through one hour time share seminar determined not to buy any more....of course that did not happen...when Fred stood his ground and said we were not interested the guy convinced us to change from Las Vegas to Hawaii for many more benefits and him as our consultant...did we get sucked in...yes we did! So now we own 156,000 points in Hawaii!!! But I am convinced it is a good thi...

Up early today...not too hard as still jetlagged! We had a perfect day! Could not have been better! We had to drive to Port Allen where we boarded "Lucky Lady" - a five hour cruise from Kauai Sea Tours. had excellent staff who took care of your every need...helped balance you when needed, looked after the sea sick, waited hand and foot on us...and were very funny! Coffee was served immediately which we all needed as it was so early...soon to be followed by a buff...

WEll jet lag truly has set in....we have been awake since 3am! Took a picture out our window...looks very cloudy....actually Kauai is cloudy in mornings and evenings! And gets sunny and hot during day. I got stuck into the wash...we were given 2 bag breakfasts last night so that was our brekky! We got a phone call asking us to come to orientation which was very good...told us all about the tours we could take and the things to do and places to go on the island. I...
