Well,we got up at 6am....the airport hotel Mariott at Montreal is excellent! Very comfortable and convenient..would highly recommend! We checked in at 7....we have to say that Montreal airport sucks...tried to get an English newspaper and a crossword book....no such luck...all French...and no nice restaurants or shops...more spare than Brisbane! On the trip to Vancouver by 8:30 arriving there at 2 our time but 11 am their time! We had a nice lunch and I shopped the duty free shops...finally got on a plane for Honolulu at 5pm their time or 9pm our time! Air Canada charged for everything on both flights even tho one was international and 6 hours and other was 5 hours across Canada...food, wine, ear phones, blankets, pillows...everything!!!and you had to pay an extra $17 per suitcases booked....and when you got to the waiting room they declared there was no room for carry ons so you had to wait in line again to,get your carry on checked in!!! never again!!! We got to Honolulu late about 6:10 and had to catch a 7:25 to Kauai....it was a mad rush...of course our carry on was the very last one off the plane...so we rushed to the inter island airport after having been up for 20 hours now...just made it and we had to repack as our bags were over the limit!!! Finally got thru...had a 40 minute plane trip to Kauai....all our bags came quick...had to take a bus to the car hire....finally got a car...convertible mustang!!!...and promptly got lost in the dark in a foreign city finding our way to the time share....when we got there they were staying up for us and took ages and ages to figure out our accommodation....by the time we got to our lovely room we were awake again...hence me writing this entry at 4am Montreal,time!!! BTW I read a whole book on the planes and loved it!
