Lounged around on the beach all day, waiting for the full moon party. Picked up some bottles of whisky to drink, it only costs around 2 quid for a bottle. Got a taxi there at around 10pm with some of the others from the beach. The first thing you see when you get there are hundreds of stalls selling buckets of spirits and mixers. Finished off our bottle of whisky and coke while wandering up the beach. There are just loads of bars playing loads of different genres of music all along the beach so you can just wander around until you find something you like, its great. Found some guys that had a flaming skipping rope so thought i'd have a go at that. Went to the chill out bar at the top of the beach, its amazing to look down on 10 000 people getting mashed on a beach. Just spent the night wandering up and down drinking and bumping in to random people, one Thai bloke had a snake that he let me hold which was pretty cool. We decided to get a taxi back at around 5/6 in the morning when it started to die down a bit.

Did nothing but chill out in the hammock in the front of the hut all day. Drank loads of water and slept and ate. Banana, Coconut and Chocolate pancakes are awesome by the way.

Rented out a jeep for the day and drove up to the north of the island to check out what was there. Had some breakfast and then found a minigolf course, it was so hot and with the sun cream on I was sweating profusely by hole 2, pat won by far, rich beat coops by a point and me n helen brought up the rear with a point between us. In the minigolf place they had table tennis and pool for free so we got a few games in. After that we found a resort on the beach that had an awesome swimming pool so we spent a few hours there doing pearl heenan dives into it. We drove back to Haadrin for the evening and chilled out on the beach for a while. Got some shakes while playing cards and found somewhere to eat. We had Red Snapper, which tasted good, but you just dont get enough meat on fish, and its such a hassle picking bones out of you mouth. Walked back along the beach and chilled out on the beach while watching some people spining flaming sticks around. Drove back at around midnight, love the rules of the road here, just beep and overtake, and keep checking your mirrors for 8 year olds overtaking on scooters.

Used the jeep for another day, decided to check out the east side of the island which is only accessible by windy muddy dirt tracks. Some of the tracks are insanely steep, you have the jeep in 4wd and foot to the floor in 1st gear and you're still worring that you wont get up the hill. We made it to the beach by midday and threw a tennis ball around in the sea for a bit. Helen swam over to some rocks to get a view round the cove, so pat and i followed. But when i got there and looked round pat was grimmacing and sitting on the rock, saying 'oooooooh me foot, i've got a gash in my toe', he then shouted 's*** sharks' so we swam back and spent a few hours tending to the gash. Then we went to a 'waterfall' when we got there there was some dog in the road, and a puppie attempting to walk in the road. Coops had to get out to pick it up and move it, so we pulled over and found 3 more puppies, played with them for a while before we wandered down to the the waterfall which turned out to be a s*** load of rocks with a trickly of water falling down them. We went further east to a view point which we decieded to start driving to but coops and helen got a bit worried so decieded to do an austin powers point turn in the road which scared them even more, so they got out. Walked the rest of the way to the view point, could see the curve of the earth from there. Went to the beach, did a bit of crazy bouldering along the cove and saw a water monitor scutter in to some rocks. Drove back to the huts and had an early night so we could catch the ferry in the morning to Koh Tao.
