Wandered down the street in the evening to find somewhere to eat. Decided to go to a supermarket to get some alcohol for the evening rather than going to a bar. Bought 5 bottles of sang som to drink and spent the night playing cards and drinking. Don't remember what time we went to sleep, I thought it was 9 but aparently was more like 2, lets just say that neat sang som goes down very easily, between the 3 of us we had 4 and a half of the bottles.

Was woken up at 5.50am to get up and get a taxi at 6 to the ferry/bus to get to Phuket, which was to arrive at 3.30pm. I was still quite drunk and staggered around while trying to pack stuff into my bag. Fell over right on my ass under the weight of my bag. Noticed a s*** load of bites on Pats leg and arm from where he had slept on the floor near the door, there are literally hundreds of mozy bites on his ankle and all up his arm. There must have been some wasted mozzies around last night. Got in the taxi and finished off the rest of the sang som while singing 'free love on the free love freeway'. Passed out on the ferry. Got on another bus to go to Karon beach near phuket and didn't arrive until 8pm. Found a really nice place to stay called the Patak Guest House. Went for a meal at the Red Onion, really good food. And just chilled out in the room all night.
